Indoor Target

Our season starts with Indoor Target shooting based on the NFAA Indoor Target round. Archers shoot 30 or 60 scored arrows at either the single spot or five spot NFAA target face from 10 or 20 yards depending on their competition class. Our practices focus on the form, equipment setup, and discipline required to repeatedly hit the “X” along with range etiquette and scoring procedures.

Interested archers also participate in full NFAA rounds of 10 practice and 60 scored arrows. A number of coaches and parents shoot along with the youth archers during these non-S3DA events. Blazin’ Arrows archers and their families continue to participate in State and National NFAA Indoor Target events.

Indoor target season also includes some opportunities to shoot the Vegas target face. These are mostly locally hosted shoots, but we have members that make the trip to Las Vegas, NV to shoot in the National Event.
